Admissions

Children will be considered for entry to the Pre-school once the registration form has been completed and returned to us. A non-refundable registration fee has to be paid when you take up a place.

All 3 year olds are funded the term after their 3rd birthday. We also take children with 30 hours funding. The Government funding entitles your child 15 hours a week until the age of 5 years.  We also accept 2 year old funding. Find out if you are eligible for funding here

Where a child is not fully potty trained, parents/carers must provide sufficient nappies, nappy bags and wipes for each day and spare clothes in a named bag. These will only be used for your child.

Notice Period...

Four weeks written notice is required if you no longer require the place, if you wish to withdraw your child or make changes to your child’s session days.

Until that notice has expired, fees are payable.

When is my child eligible for Early Years Funding?

Your child is eligible for Early Years Funding the term after their 3rd birthday.

Do I as a parent need to do anything to claim Early Years Funding ?

No, Castle Day Nursery will do that for you but you will need to sign the Agreement Form.

Do you take 30 hours Funded children and 2 years funded children ?

Yes we take both.

Are all your staff qualified ?

All our staff are qualified and have many years of experience.

Do your staff have Paediatric First Aid ?

Majority of staff have Paediatric First Aid. There will always be a First Aider on site.

Do you have a high staff turnover?

We have an extremely low staff turnover .

  • Fanstatic Nursery and Pre School! As a mother who's 3 children who have and still attended Castle Day I couldn't recommend it enough. The sheer commitment and dedication of all the staff is exemplary. My children would always jump out of bed raring to go to pre school. They loved the variety of activities and the space is fantastic for children to run free and play. They are so versatile in their activities, every day is so different; from drawing to baking, growing their own plants and putting on Christmas shows to name but a few. The staff understand each and every child's personalities and have always been their to support me as a parent whenever they could. I am not surprised this nursery is always full up, it's an excellent place to send you children and I would recommend it to everyone.

  • Such a brilliant nursery! I would recommend Castle Day to absolutely anyone in Croydon who is looking for good childcare. The level of care for the children is second to none and there has been many times that I could have stayed and played the entire day. The staff at the nursery are wonderful and really care for the children and make them feel at home. They provide a great environment for the children to learn, play and grow. Both of my children go to Castle Day and come home very happy and tell me what a great day they have had. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping to make my children the happy and confident little people.
